Victor Parlicov noted that in general this contract is a big fake, since the Turkish company that allegedly signed the document, in response to a request from the Moldovan side via email, denied the existence of any agreement on gas supplies to Moldova and stated that it does not provide services to gas market. In addition, the document made public does not contain data to identify companies, there are no seals. In particular, there is no seal of the Turkish company, and this is a mandatory condition for Turkey, and this also casts doubt on the authenticity of the document. In addition, there is no data on the activities in the gas market of the German company Gas and Electricity Trading Gmbh, which is allegedly ready to supply gas to the Turkish company, although it was called a “European trader.” According to the head of the Ministry of Energy, in fact, the manager of this company runs a cafe-bakery in Germany, and the company from Moldova Nordgaz Furnizare has not had any activity until now. Victor Parlicov emphasized that, thus, the contract published the day before is a lie, a fake, it is impossible to fulfill, it is a simple piece of paper, and this fake contract was prepared and presented as part of the election campaign by the “Sor criminal group.” “These are only election promises that have nothing to do with reality. If there was gas on the market at such prices, the government would buy it. But there is currently no lower price than the one at which Energocom buys gas. The government seeks and buys cheap gas, and we do this for all citizens of our country, and not for individual citizens and individual regions. All summer we bought gas at the best price, and now we have confidence for consumers – for all consumers – regarding stable prices and resources for almost the entire winter period,” said Victor Parlicov. He noted that, thanks to the gas purchased in summer and autumn, and reserves made for almost the entire winter, gas prices in Moldova will not increase, even if gas prices rise sharply on the market in winter. He also noted that gas transportation from Turkey alone is estimated at 100 euros per 1 thousand cubic meters, and distribution and other tariffs are added to these costs. The head of the Ministry of Energy also pointed out that the document published yesterday indicated a profitability of 5%, while for the Moldovagaz company it is 2.5%. “They simply blatantly lie, mislead and take everyone for fools, knowing that it is impossible to supply gas at such a price. They have no intention of supplying gas at this price, so they are outright lying. They also announced in April that they would supply gas at a price of 12 lei per cubic meter, but they did not deliver. Now they promise gas for 10 lei, tomorrow they will promise 8 lei. But they only make statements, speculating on a sensitive topic, but do not deliver the gas itself,” emphasized Victor Parlicov. He also drew attention to the fact that theoretically, in case of desire to receive gas from alternative suppliers on a free rather than regulated market, each consumer must write a statement to refuse the current contract with his current supplier, which for the vast majority of citizens is Moldovagaz ", and enter into a contract with others. The Energy Minister said that an individual, informed decision must be made, since returning again to a regulated, more state-protected gas market will be difficult and not very quick in time. According to him, if we don’t even talk about discrimination against consumers in a fake contact and don’t evaluate it from the point of view of competition laws, but discuss it seriously, then if the authors of this scheme want to supply gas to Moldova from December 1, then today there should be a wave of applications from citizens who dream of becoming owners of cheap gas and terminating the contract with Moldovagaz. “But there is no real basis for what is being said.
