In Moldova, the procedure for connecting solar photovoltaic stations for household consumers has been simplified.
In particular, this is envisaged by amendments to the Regulation on Connection to Electric Grids and Provision of Electricity Transmission and Distribution Services, which were approved by the National Agency for Energy Regulation. According to the energy regulator, the adopted changes will help increase efficiency and simplify the procedures for connecting low-capacity power plants designed to produce electricity to cover their own consumption of household consumers. It is emphasized that the amended regulation will lead to a reduction in fees for electricity used by household consumers, owners of power plants that produce electricity from renewable sources connected to the power grid, and a reduction in the period for issuing an opinion on the connection by the system operator to connect to the distribution networks of power plants intended to cover their own consumption electricity. According to the changes in the regulation, the need for the applicant to submit a valid building permit in the event of an extension of the validity of the connection permit for power plants using renewable energy sources in the case of individual houses, as well as the Certificate of Compliance of the power plant issued by the state energy supervision body, has been eliminated. Similarly, the term for issuing a connection notice issued by the electricity distribution system operator has been reduced from 30 to 10 days. The new provisions of the regulation have been developed and approved by NAER in order to bring the requirements for connection to distribution electricity networks, provided for by-laws, in line with the provisions of the main legislation, and will come into force from the date of publication in Monitorul Oficial. //23.01.2023 — InfoMarket.
