
In 2020, Premier Energy Distribution invested over 312 million lei in the development and operation of the enterprise.
In particular, according to the company, the funds were invested in the reconstruction, development, expansion and maintenance of high, medium and low voltage power grids, in the improvement and modernization of IT infrastructure and improvement of the quality of services provided. It is noted that thanks to the investment work carried out on lines with medium and low voltage in 2020, the SAIDI indicator (average duration of outages in the system) was 1.53 hours - 0.80 hours less than in the previous year, which directly affects quality of power supply. The SAIDI index represents the average time of disconnection of consumers at the distribution operator level and indicates the possibility of renewal of electricity distribution by the distribution operator. In addition, in 2020, the SAIFI indicator (the average number of long interruptions in power supply per consumer per year) decreased to 1.93 interruptions compared to 3 in 2019.
