Young people from Chisinau will be able to receive grants of up to 20,000 lei to implement community projects

The Chisinau City Hall has opened applications for a municipal grant program for student councils and youth initiative groups, which provides funding for community projects. The maximum funding amount will be 10,000 lei for student councils and 20,000 lei for youth initiative groups. Projects in areas such as democracy development, promoting a healthy lifestyle, youth personal development, waste recycling, and strengthening dialogue between youth and authorities are eligible for support. In turn, youth initiative groups will be eligible to apply for support for projects aimed at developing civic and leadership skills, promoting civic participation, volunteering, social inclusion, and engagement with government authorities.
