Moldova announces competition for funding of up to 425,000 euros for five companies engaged in waste management and processing
The competition is being organized by UNDP as part of the “Enabling an Inclusive Green Transition in Moldova” project, funded by the European Union. Companies will receive in-kind assistance of up to €85,000 in the form of equipment and specialized technical support services (equipment-related services) to establish new waste processing facilities, modernize and expand existing facilities, implement technical solutions to reduce environmental impact, and develop digital systems and IT solutions. Companies will be selected based on a set of criteria that will assess the relevance of proposals, the expected impact on increasing waste processing capacity, the technical feasibility of investments, financial stability, and the applicants’ operational capacity to implement the proposed projects. The company’s own financial contribution will amount to 100% of the value of the non-monetary support provided. Implementation period: 12 months. Applications will be accepted until May 22, in electronic format, in accordance with the competition requirements. // 06.05.2026 — InfoMarket
