This was stated during a meeting that Moldovan Ambassador to Japan and South Korea Dumitru Socolan had with Jihyung Lee, Vice President for Economic Cooperation and Trade Affairs of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). The sides discussed the South Korean companies' interest in Moldova, as well as the possibilities to expand the categories of goods to be exported from Moldova. Dumitru Socolan presented the current situation in Moldova's economic relations with South Korea, emphasizing the government's priorities in this respect. Among them are the attraction of investments in the IT sector, the expansion of the categories and volumes of goods for export, as well as the initiation of closer cooperation between KOTRA and the Investment Agency.
