Applications for participation in the municipal program "Startup for Youth and Migrants" in Chisinau are accepted until August 25.

As recalled in the Chisinau Mayor's office, registration for participation in the entrepreneurship support program, which is intended for persons aged 18 to 40, is being completed. To date, 900 applicants have already registered. Beneficiaries can be young people who plan to open or have registered their business no more than 12 months ago; migrant workers with permanent residence in Chisinau; young investors; young entrepreneurs from the category of refugees. Program participants will receive training on topics related to entrepreneurship development (legislative and regulatory aspects of business management; financial management; accounting for small and medium-sized businesses; fiscal framework and business accounting; digital literacy; online marketing, etc.). The program also provides for gratuitous financial support for entrepreneurial initiatives - up to 200 thousand lei per beneficiary or compensation of interest on loans received in the last 24 months - up to 100 thousand lei per beneficiary. All program participants will receive information and advisory support. The total budget of the Startup for Youth and Migrants program in 2023 is 10 million lei.
