Grants totaling over 12.8 million lei have been allocated to bring 10 Moldovan companies into the international market.

According to the Organization for the Development of the Small and Medium Enterprise Sector (ODIMM), the maximum amount of one grant is 2 million lei. Funding is provided by the state of Moldova and GIZ within the framework of the business support program with high growth potential and internationalization. The beneficiaries are companies operating in areas such as digital marketing, cereal production, mineral water production, honey processing, glycerin production, fruit filling for confectionery products, recyclable paper cups, etc. Thanks to grant assistance, the total investment in projects will amount to almost 28.3 million lei. Of the total number of beneficiaries, 60% have up to 9 employees, 20% have up to 49 employees, and 20% have up to 249 employees. At the same time, out of the total number of financed SMEs, the annual turnover of 50% of companies reaches 9 million lei, 30% - up to 25 million lei, 20% - up to 50 million lei. At the same time, it was approved the allocation of business vouchers of up to 100 thousand lei to eight companies for access to business development services totaling 428.4 thousand lei. As a reminder, the Business Support Program for companies with high growth and internationalization potential was launched in October 2020. Within its framework, small and medium-sized enterprises will receive information and consulting support, financial assistance in the form of "Business Vouchers" of up to 100 thousand lei and "Grants" up to 2 million lei. The program is open to small and medium-sized enterprises that have been active on the market for at least two years, show continuous growth and plan to enter new markets or replace imports of goods or services in Moldova. Thanks to this Program, products and services from Moldova will be available on international markets in countries such as Russia, Romania, Ukraine, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Ireland, France, UK, Netherlands, Canada, USA, Israel, UAE, Belarus and other European countries and Asia. //10.01.2022 - InfoMarket.
