Orange Moldova reconfirms its leadership position on the telecom market in the Republic of Moldova, with remarkable results in mobile, fixed Internet and digital services in 2025

Orange Moldova is the only mobile operator in the country to have recorded growth in its mobile customer base in 2025 compared to 2024, according to data published by ARCOM, the National Regulatory Agency for Communications of the Republic of Moldova. These results reconfirm Orange Moldova’s leadership position on the telecom market in the Republic of Moldova, supported by a 53.9% share in the mobile telephony segment and a total of 1,920.9 thousand active SIM cards.

These results follow a year in which Orange Moldova continued to invest in the future of connectivity, innovation and the digital experience offered to customers. In 2025, the company launched its 5G network, with speeds of up to 2.1 Gbps, expanded its Fiber network to more than 90 localities and introduced next-generation technologies such as XGS-PON and FTTR, which bring Fiber Internet speeds of up to 10 Gbps and high-performance Wi-Fi at home.

The positive evolution was also reflected in the fixed services segment. In 2025, Orange Moldova recorded the highest percentage growth in the number of connections to Fiber Internet and Television services, with a 17.8% increase compared to the previous year.

At the same time, Orange accelerated the digital transformation of its services, making interactions with the brand simpler, faster and more personalized. Customers were able to use VoLTE in Roaming, instantly activate an eSIM subscription directly from the My Orange app and benefit from CyberFilter, a solution that provides an advanced level of digital protection on both the mobile network and the Orange Fiber network.

Olga SURUGIU, CEO of Orange Moldova:
“Customer growth is, first and foremost, a sign of trust. We thank everyone who chooses Orange every day, at home, at work, while travelling or during the important moments spent with their loved ones. For us, this trust comes with the responsibility to continue investing in the best connectivity experience, secure technologies and digital services that make life simpler. We remain close to our customers and will continue to contribute to building Moldova’s digital future.”
