Maib supports the return of students from the diaspora and the development of the next generation of professionals

Maib reaffirms its commitment to the development and support of young people who choose to return home, as a partner of the Gala of Students Originating from the Republic of Moldova, an event that has reached its 13th edition.
The Gala is an annual event dedicated to recognizing and promoting young Moldovans who pursue studies at international universities and stand out through remarkable academic and extracurricular achievements, actively contributing to the strengthening of a generation of professionals connected to the values and future of the Republic of Moldova.

During the event, Svetlana Bodaci, Human Resources Director at maib, offered the “Inspirational Returns” award, a distinction granted to young people who had the courage to transform the academic and professional experience gained abroad into added value for the country’s development.

Svetlana Bodaci, Human Resources Director at maib, stated:
“For maib, this event is a clear sign that we see, value, and celebrate not only the results, but also the journey that leads to them. Returning home is not a failure, but one of the bravest decisions — a testament to responsibility, maturity, and a genuine desire to contribute to the future of the Republic of Moldova. We are proud to stand alongside young people who choose to turn international experience into value here, at home.”
More than an awards ceremony, the Gala represents a space for dialogue and connection, where students are encouraged to actively engage in the development of the Republic of Moldova through innovative projects and socially impactful initiatives.

At the same time, maib took part in the Job Fair & Project Match organized within the event, a platform dedicated to facilitating young people’s access to career opportunities in the Republic of Moldova and supporting their return and professional integration. In this context maib representatives engaged with students and graduates, presenting employment opportunities, development programs, and career prospects within the bank.

At maib, people are at the center of all decisions, and investing in the new generation of professionals is a strategic priority. The bank creates a work environment that supports performance, continuous learning, and engagement, offering young people returning from the diaspora the opportunity to build a relevant and long-term career at home, in the Republic of Moldova.

Maib’s commitment to organizational culture and team development was further reaffirmed by being named Most Appreciated Employer in Moldova in 2025, according to the ranking conducted by wherewework.md, recognizing an agile, innovative, and people-centered work environment.
