Maib – the most appreciated Employer in Moldova according to wherewework.md 2025

Maib rose to first place in the wherewework.md ranking, based exclusively on employee opinions, collected anonymously between October 16, 2024 and October 15, 2025. The platform is the largest online community of employees in Moldova and one of the most important in Central and Eastern Europe.

If in 2024 the bank occupied the third position, this year maib managed to climb to first place, confirming the constant appreciation of employees for the working environment, organizational culture, stability, professional development programs and internal atmosphere. This performance reflects the bank's continuous commitment to putting people at the center of the process and to creating a dynamic, balanced and motivating work environment.

Svetlana Bodaci, Human Resources Director of maib:

"This recognition confirms that at maib, people are at the center of everything we do. The 1st place in the wherewework.md ranking reflects our ongoing commitment to creating a work environment based on a culture of innovation, appreciation and development, a place where every employee feels valued, listened to and motivated to grow. The maib culture is about people, energy and the desire to do things better every day. We will continue to develop it, so as to attract and retain the best professionals, ensure a work environment according to best practices, encouraging the performance, personal and professional development of the maib team at all levels."

Costin Tudor, CEO of wherewework, states:
"As every year, the wherewework Moldova Top Employers reflects the real voice of employees, not the image projected by companies. The fact that we see a growing diversification of the industries present in the ranking shows that more and more companies, regardless of field or size, are truly investing in the employee experience. This year's ranking shows a maturation of the labor market, in which transparency, respect for people and the balance between professional and personal life become essential criteria for organizational performance. The labor market in Moldova is becoming increasingly complex and competitive. Employees are no longer looking for just a stable job, but an environment that respects them, develops them and gives them meaning. For companies, the experience they offer their employees has become a strategic differentiator."

The wherewework.md ranking is based on anonymous employee feedback and is built by evaluating several essential criteria for the work experience: advancement opportunities, salary package, work-life balance, management, procedures and organizational values. This approach ensures a real and objective picture of the working environment in companies, far from public perception or image campaigns.

The full list of employers in Moldova is available on wherewework.md, where employees can anonymously contribute to the evaluation of companies, supporting transparency and the development of the local labor market.
