“Masa Bucuriei”: For four years, maib people have brought joy to the table of those in need

Once again, maib people have demonstrated that goodness begins with a simple gesture and an open heart. Armed with smiles, energy, and a desire to contribute to a brighter Easter for the elderly in Moldova, maib employees joined the volunteers of the National Campaign “Masa Bucuriei” organized by the Social Mission “Diaconia”.

In several supermarkets across Chișinău, maib employees became, for a day, ambassadors of good deeds, mobilizing the community to donate food for those in need of support. As a result, over 36,000 kilograms of non-perishable food were collected in Chișinău alone, 10,000 kilograms more than last year.
The collected donations will be distributed as food packages during the Easter holidays and used to prepare warm meals throughout the year for the needy through social canteens.

Iulia Bogușevschi, Head of Corporate Communication and Events Division at maib:
“For us at maib, involvement in supporting social causes is not just a part of our corporate strategy – it is an authentic expression of the values that define us. We strongly believe in the power of community and in each individual's responsibility to contribute to the common good. The “Masa Bucuriei” campaign allowed us to stand beside those who need help the most – through material donations and acts of solidarity, sincere empathy, and active presence. It was a corporate volunteering experience that reconfirmed that real change starts with people who choose to get involved. I thank maib employees for choosing to be ambassadors of good deeds.

“Masa Bucuriei” is the largest national project supporting people in need, fostering solidarity and encouraging people's involvement in volunteer-based initiatives. The 16th edition of the campaign took place in over 120 stores in Chișinău and 33 other cities across the country.
For the fourth consecutive year, the bank has participated in the “Masa Bucuriei” campaign, encouraging maib people to volunteer and engage in projects with social impact. By supporting such initiatives, maib strengthens its mission of being more than just a bank – a pillar of trust in the community's life, where it truly matters.
You drive. maib
