Maib and Gladei&Partners Law Firm have appointed the scholarships winners

Maib and Gladei&Partners Law Firm have appointed the winners of two scholarships, in the amount of the tuition fee for the academic year 2022-2023, offered in an essay contest on the topic "Capping interest in credit agreements (how) to hold with the hare and run with the hounds?". In addition, Gladei&Partners Law Firm also offered an internship for a month.
 
The contest took place between September 20 and October 2. Senior-year undergraduate students and postgraduate’s students from the Law Faculty of any university in Moldova, with full time attendance, based on a contract or budget funding, at higher education institutions in the country participated.
 
Ambitious and studious students highlighted their knowledge of law and banking by addressing the proposed essay topic in the most exhaustive, creative, well-documented ways possible.

On October 8, the finalists of the contest were invited in the premises of the Faculty of Law of USM, the academic partner of the project, to present the works in front of the Evaluation Commission, which included Roger Gladei, lawyer-coordinator of Gladei& Partners, Aelita Orhei, Head of the maib Legal Department, as well as Sergiu Baies, head of the Civil Law Department of the State University of Moldova.

All participating students were well prepared and demonstrated they are passionate, dedicated and hardworking to achieve outstanding results in law and jurisprudence. Still, as in any competition, the scholarships went to the best of the best."
 
Tudor Popa, a postgraduate student of the Faculty of Law of USM, and Nicoleta Budurin, a student of the Faculty of Law of USM, obtained two scholarships. Catalina Stavila, student of the Faculty of Law of USM obtained the internship in the Gladei&Partners Law Firm, the three impressing the jury with their professional approach to the topic, proposed solutions and complex CVs.

The presentations during the event demonstrated the excellent knowledge of the field of study and the student's critical spirit, confirming their effort in accumulating as much theoretical and practical knowledge as possible in their chosen profession.

"I am at the beginning of my career. I want to build a professional experience, especially since the law firm is highly rated. This would mean that the tasks that will be given to me will influence me very useful in my development as a professional".
