Maib launches the public offer of municipal bonds issued by the Chișinău City Hall

Maib announces the launch of the public offer of the municipal bonds issued by the Chisinau City Hall, with a total value of 65 million lei. Thus, the Chișinău City Hall intends to invest in the modernization of the trolleybus infrastructure of the capital, in order to offer citizens access to qualitative transport services. The nominal value of a bond issued is 1000 lei, and the maturity - 7 years.
 
The public offer period (subscription period) is March 7, 2022 - March 28, 2022 (inclusive), from Monday till Friday, according to the working schedule between 8:00 - 17:00, with lunch break between 12:00 - 13:00, with the possibility of early closing of the Offer in case of subscribing the entire volume. The issuance of municipal bonds will offer the possibility to attract investors through the capital market, as well as the diversification of investment instruments in conditions of maximum transparency.
 
Municipal bonds represent securities issued by cities or other local administrative-territorial forms. These institutions can issue municipal bonds for capital investments.
