MAIB supports Moldovan athletes at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020

Swimming, archery, Greco-Roman wrestling, hammer throwing and canoeing - these are just some competitions in which Moldovan athletes aim to excel at the Summer Olympic Games 2020 in Tokyo. The competitions take place between July 23 and August 8, following their cancellation in the previous year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
After months of training, 20 athletes will represent our country in eight competitions. For over two decades, MAIB has been developing a sustainable partnership with the National Olympic and Sports Committee of the Republic of Moldova (NOSC), supporting the performance sport, the country's Olympians and having full confidence that they will return home victorious and proud of every international competition.
 
This year Moldova is represented at the Summer Olympic Games 2020 in Tokyo by: Zalina Petrivskaya, Serghei Marghiev, Dimitriana Bezede, Lilia Fisikovici, Andrian Mardare, Alexandra Emilianov, Anastasia Nichita, Victor Ciobanu, Denis Vieru, Victor Sterpu, Serghei Tarnovsch, Daniela Cociu, Maria Olărașu, Alexandra Mîrca, Dan Olaru, Tatiana Salcuțan, Alexei Sancov, Elena Cîlcic, Marin Robu, Anna Dulce.
