PwC Romania promotes a Partner in Assurance Services

Bucharest, 23 June 2021 - PwC Romania announces that, as of 1 July, Doina Bîrsan will become Partner in the Assurance Services department and take over the leadership of the Assurance practice in Moldova.
 
“I congratulate Doina for her remarkable career in PwC Moldova and Romania. The promotion to the new role represents the full recognition of her results so far. I’m sure that she’ll continue to contribute to growing the core Assurance practice and the development of the Broader Assurance Services in Moldova, leveraging on her experience and expertise”, said Ionuț Simion, Country Managing Partner of PwC Romania and Moldova.
 
Doina Bîrsan started her career in PwC Moldova 15 years ago and she specializes in financial audit services for large companies in the consumer goods, technology and communications.
Currently, she coordinates a team of 30 people who carry out audit projects for local and multinational companies in various fields, both in Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
A graduate of the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Doina is ACCA qualified and also a Romanian Certified Auditor.
