She will take up her duties on April 25, succeeding Cosmin Dinescu. Kirsten Joppe is a German governance expert and international advisor with over 20 years of experience in peacekeeping operations and human rights. She gained extensive international experience through various positions related to election assistance and senior positions at the OSCE Mission in Kosovo and the German Foreign Ministry, where she served as an officer on Armenia and Azerbaijan.
