Moldova will have a National Office for Culture Development

The government approved the relevant decision on the organization and functioning of the public institution. The new institution will be in charge of managing the national fund for culture, selecting and providing financing for projects in the cultural and publishing sectors. The institution will be subordinated to the Culture Ministry and will employ 22 staff members, including 2 managerial positions. About 3 million lei per year will be needed to organize and support the institution's work. It is planned that 16 staff units will be transferred from the National Center for Education through Art (4 are vacant), another 6 will be staff units of the National Library of Moldova (all vacant). // 24.07.2024 - InfoMarket.
