In Moldova, the number of ministries has been increased from 9 to 13.
This is provided for by a resolution on the approval of the list of ministries, which the parliament adopted at the initiative of the deputies from the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), taking into account the submission by their candidate for the post of Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita of a new government structure, which provides for the separation of a number of relevant ministries from some of the current ministries, which combined in the course of the previous reform a number of industries. In particular, 5 ministries will remain in their previous form in the structure of the new government: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration; Ministry of Internal Affairs; Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Finance. At the same time, the other 4 sectoral departments will be reorganized, and 8 ministries will appear instead. In particular, instead of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure and the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment, 4 sectoral departments will appear: the Ministry of Economy; Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development; the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry; and the Ministry of the Environment. Along with this, instead of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, four more departments will appear: the Ministry of Health; Ministry of Education and Research; the ministry of culture and the ministry of labor and social protection. The resolution approved by the parliament approves a new list of ministries and stipulates that the government within 3 months will reorganize the structure of specialized central government bodies in accordance with the provisions of the approved resolution and will submit proposals to parliament on bringing the current legislation in accordance with the new structure of central government bodies.// 06.08.2021 — InfoMarket
