
Moldova: Total sales of mobile broadband Internet access services in 2020 increased by 1.9% - up to 1.2 billion lei, versus 2019.
The National Agency for Regulation of Electronic Communications and Information Technologies (ANRCETI) reported this, noting that, at the same time, income from the sale of allotted Internet access decreased by 1.9% and amounted to 235.4 million lei. According to the regulator, the average monthly income (ARPU) per user of broadband mobile Internet through smartphones increased by 1.7% and amounted to 39.4 lei, and ARPU per user of mobile Internet through allotted access increased by 8.8% to 91.7 lei. According to ANRCETI, the market shares of the three providers of mobile broadband Internet access in terms of revenues were asfollows: Orange Moldova - 61.8%, Moldcell - 29.9% and Moldtelecom - 8.3%. // 05.04.2021 - InfoMarket
