
In 2023, the volume of the online trading market in Moldova amounted to about 357 million euros, up by 31% compared to 2021 and up by over 15% compared to 2022.
These results of a study of the e-commerce market in Moldova were presented at the GPeC conference held last week in Chisinau. The authors of the study reported that the number of e-commerce participants in Moldova doubled to 1,200, and the number of buyers increased by 2%, exceeding 327 thousand people. Most of the e-commerce in Moldova is concentrated in Chisinau. It is worth noting that about 300 entrepreneurs from all over the country took part in the GPEC conference on e-commerce and digital marketing, which was held in Chisinau for the second year in a row. The speakers were representatives of 15 well-known companies and brands: Google, Emag, Hive5, Naratix.ai, etc. International and local experts in the field of e-commerce and digital-marketing spoke about the advantages of e-commerce, challenges and keys to success in e-commerce, about strategies and promotion in the digital space, presented various cases and ways to solve them.
