As the InfoMarket agency was informed by the National Bureau of Statistics, the export of domestic goods for 7 months of 2023 amounted to $1 billion 582.6 million (67.4% of the total), decreasing by 17.1% compared to the same period of the previous year. At the same time, re-export of foreign goods (after their significant processing and classic re-export) in January-July 2023 amounted to $763.9 million (32.6% of the total), which is 6% more than the same period in 2022. Herewith, re-export of goods after processing (clothing, shoes, parts of shoes, chairs, electrical wiring and cables, other products for the automotive industry, shelled nuts, chairs and other furniture, suitcases, textile products, toys, etc.) amounted to 14.1% in total exports, and the classic re-export of foreign goods (gasoline, diesel fuel, vehicles, nuts, medicines, sunflower oil, sunflower seeds, cigarettes, wine distillates, whiskey, gin, vodka, liqueurs, beer, fabrics, knitwear, essential oils, perfumes and cosmetics, travel and sports bags, backpacks, wrist and other watches, corn) – 18.5%. According to the NBS, motor transport was most often used to export goods abroad during this period - 81.7% of the total volume, followed by sea transport - 13.2%, railway - 2.9%, air - 1.1%, fixed transport installations (1%), self-propelled export (0.1%). In general, Moldovan exports to the EU countries in January-July 2023, compared to the same period in 2022, decreased by 8% - to $1 billion 460.8 million, to the CIS countries - increased by 13.2% - to $585.3 million, and to other countries - decreased by 42.8% - to $300.3 million. The share of EU countries in the total volume of Moldovan exports during the specified period increased from 60.35% to 62.26%, the share of CIS countries decreased from 24.94% to 17.42%, and the share of countries outside the EU and CIS decreased from 19.98% to 12.8%. Meanwhile, the growth of Moldovan exports to the CIS was due to an increase in supplies of goods to Ukraine, compared with January-July 2022, by $66.9 million (+20.3%) - up to $396.1 million. According to the NBS, the main countries destinations of Moldovan exports in the specified period of this year were: Romania (32.4% of total Moldovan exports), Ukraine (16.9%), Italy (7%), Germany (5.3%), Russia and the Czech Republic (each 3.9%), Turkey (3.7%), Poland (2.8%), Belarus (2.3%), Spain (1.8%), Bulgaria (1.5%), USA (1. 3%), Hungary (1.2%), France, the Netherlands, Lebanon and Kazakhstan (1.1% each), Great Britain (1%), Greece and Cyprus (0.9% each) and Switzerland (0.8% ). At the same time, during this period, Moldova reduced exports to Turkey (-62.1%), Bulgaria (-71.4%), Italy (-23.8%), Russia (-31.1%), Switzerland ( -67.2%), the Netherlands (-46.9%), the UK (-43.5%), Germany (-12.7%), Portugal (-96.7%), Poland (-9.1% ), Austria (-36.5%), Jordan (-85.9%), Belgium (-25.6%), Hungary (-9.3%), Iraq (-45.2).
