The National Bureau of Statistics reported that, at the same time, the supply of Russian products to Moldova in 2 months of 2023 compared to the same period of 2022. At the same time, the supply of Russian products to Moldova for 2 months in 2023, compared to the same period of the previous year, decreased by 64.9% - to $110.3 million. At the same time, the share of the Russian Federation in the total volume of Moldovan exports decreased over the specified period from 7.32% to 4.02%, and in imports - from 24.35% to 7.42%. According to the results of January-February 2023, Russia ranked 5th in the list of the largest partners of Moldova in terms of purchases of Moldovan products (after Romania, Ukraine, Germany and Italy) in value terms. The Russian Federation also ranked 5th in terms of supplies of products to Moldova after Romania, Ukraine, China and Turkey. The negative trade balance of Moldova with Russia in January-February 2023 amounted to $82.66 million, decreasing by 68.9% compared to the same period in 2022.
