According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the share of supplies of domestic goods to Romania in the total volume of Moldovan exports during the mentioned period increased from 27.9% to 28.49%. At the same time, the volume of imports from Romania in 7 months of 2022, compared to the previous year, increased 1.8 times - up to $849.9 million, and its share in the total Moldovan import increased from 12.6% to 16.63%. As a result, in January-July 2022, Moldova's trade deficit with Romania amounted to $100.6 million, having increased 2.3 times relative to the same period of the previous year. Romania following the results of 7 months of 2022 was the largest trading partner of Moldova in terms of exports, purchasing the most Moldovan products in the specified period in monetary terms.
