
Moldova opens the Academy of Exporters.
According to the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, the academy was opened within the framework of the project "Increasing the export opportunities of Moldovan food companies with high added value to enter new markets", implemented with the support of the USAID program "Effective Agriculture in Moldova". The main goal of the project is to contribute to the development of a successful agricultural sector in Moldova by increasing the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of personnel involved in the marketing and export of agri-food products with high added value. The Academy of Exporters includes a series of trainings and several thematic master classes on topics related to specialized legislation, rules and procedures for the export of agri-food products with high added value, and also includes individual consultations. Participants will have the opportunity to promote their products in foreign markets through the Enterprise Europe Network database. The target group of the project is the owners, directors and commercial managers responsible for export within the enterprises operating in the following areas: growing and production of fresh fruits (apples, plums, apricots, peaches, cherries, etc.); production of berries (strawberries, raspberries, currants, blackberries, blueberries); production of table grapes; growing vegetables and herbs in open ground and greenhouses; production of processed fruits and vegetables (jams, juices, canned food, vegetable pastes, etc.); frozen / chilled fruits and vegetables; bee honey production; organic agri-food products.
