
36 state inspections of free economic zones (FEZ) residents are to be conducted in 2024.
The government approved the corresponding plan of state control over the activity of free economic zones (FEZ) residents for 2024 at a meeting on Wednesday. According to the document, the most state inspections are planned in the Balti free economic zone - 14 inspections of companies operating in the sub-zones of Balti, Falesti, Orhei, Straseni, Causeni and Cahul: Draexlmaier Automitive, Fujikura automotive MLD, GG Cables&Wires EE, Emipanel, Coroplast Harness Technology and others. In Ungheni-Business FEZ, inspections will be organized at 7 enterprises: Lear Corporation, Euroatlant, Euro LPG, Orange Tower, etc. A similar number of companies will be inspected in the Valkaneș production park: DK Intertrade, Vitoil Trans, Zanca, Fujikura Automotive MLD, etc. In Expo-Business-Chișinău FEZ, 4 residents (Colusvin, Firstline, Semizeu and Fujikura Automotive MLD) will be subjected to controls, while in Tvardita FEZ three residents (Zolotoy Aist, Natural Product and Moldavschii Standart) will be subjected to state control, as well as Ispan-Lux, a resident of Taraclia FEZ. Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Dumitru Alaiba specified that the list of enterprises for state inspections was made after the analysis of the activity of 250 FEZ residents, based on the risk analysis carried out by the state bodies in accordance with the current methodologies. Inspection of FEZ residents' activity will be carried out by state bodies vested with control functions: State Inspectorate for Environmental Protection, Customs Service, National Agency of Road Transport, National Inspectorate for Technical Supervision and National Agency for Food Safety.
