Moldova has developed a series of measures to facilitate and promote the export of perishable domestic agricultural products.

They were prepared and approved by the National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) and the Customs Service. In particular, the leadership of the two agencies in the working session signed a joint order on the customs clearance of exported perishable agricultural products. The document defines a mechanism to simplify and prioritize the export of perishable products and the border crossing process of this type of goods. Thus, during the state of emergency, in order to ensure optimal conditions for the export of perishable agricultural products, ANSA and the Customs Service representatives will ensure the necessary conditions for customs clearance and border crossing, first of all, for perishable agricultural products exported from Moldova. The export of perishable agricultural products from Moldova will be a priority, and when crossing, it will be used the AEO lane (Authorized Economic Operator), on which the PERISABIL TRANSPORT PRIORITAR marking will be set. In addition, when ANSA inspectors issue phytosanitary/sanitary-veterinary certificates for goods under the general procedure, they will issue PERISABIL TRANSPORT PRIORITAR markings on each transport unit. It will be placed on the windshield of trucks that will export perishable agricultural products and will allow transit in priority mode. // 02.06.2022 - InfoMarket
