In the first half of 2025, 46 agricultural entrepreneurs of Moldova received more than 43.7 million lei from IFAD funds with the support of partner financial institutions

The Ministry of Agriculture reported this, noting that 66% of beneficiaries are people under the age of 40, and 24% are women. The total amount of funds received by them for investment during this period amounted to 43.73 million lei. Of this amount, 43% was allocated to the creation of perennial plantations, including the purchase of seedlings, the installation of irrigation systems, and hail nets. Another 31% of the funds were allocated to agricultural machinery, greenhouses, and supplies necessary for ongoing operations, such as fuel, fertilizers, and seeds.
