AIPA started paying compensation to agricultural enterprises under the Electricity Price Increase Compensation Program

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry and the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA), in April, AIPA received from the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA) a list of accepted applications for compensation that were processed between February 21 and April 24. Accordingly, payment orders for 780 requests totaling 11.39 million lei are currently being processed. The approved funds will be distributed among 563 beneficiaries. Entrepreneurs will receive partial compensation of 50% of the increase in electricity tariffs. The deadline for submitting applications for compensation is 30 days from the date of the electricity bill. Compensation payments will continue throughout the year. The budget for the Electricity Price Increase Compensation Program for Moldovan enterprises is 300 million lei. The program is being implemented by the Moldovan government with the support of the European Union. Entrepreneurs can apply for compensation for electricity costs online, through the EVO app or on the MCabinet portal, where a new module is available - compensations.
