The first stop of the EcoVoucher caravan in Nisporeni sparked great interest among residents, who were convinced of the benefits of energy-efficient household appliances - the Ministry of Energy
According to the Ministry, local residents learned about the differences between old and new energy-efficient household appliances and how the implementation of energy efficiency measures can significantly reduce household expenses. Specialists from the National Center for Sustainable Energy used measuring equipment to demonstrate that modern refrigerators consume less energy than old ones, thereby emphasizing the importance of choosing household appliances according to their energy efficiency class. The government's EcoVoucher program helps families with children and elderly people reduce their energy consumption and improve their living comfort. More than 35,000 families have already taken advantage of this program. The EcoVoucher caravan will continue to bring useful information directly to the population, presenting specific solutions for saving energy and reducing bills. The caravan's next stop is Donduseni. The EcoVoucher program was developed by the Moldovan government with the support of the European Union. // 09.09.2025 – InfoMarket
