More than 300 programmers, designers, entrepreneurs, and researchers from around the world are participating in DeepTech GigaHack 2025, which is taking place in Moldova from September 12 to 14

The largest hackathon in Moldova is designed to promote technological innovation and reveal the talents of the future. As at previous GigaHack events, where applications for healthcare, solutions for improving energy efficiency, cybersecurity platforms, and AI tools for the labor market were created, this year's participants will spend 48 hours developing functional prototypes that meet real needs. In particular, they are asked to develop solutions for the real needs of companies and communities. Each task offers not only prizes of 30,000 lei, but also the opportunity to continue the projects together with the event's partners. Topics include sustainable energy, smart parking, medical diagnostics using AI, cybersecurity, and gamified education. These challenges go beyond simple programming, turning into real opportunities for innovation and practical impact. In addition to cash prizes, the hackathon offers long-term benefits: unique experience in developing an MVP (minimum viable product) in record time, direct interaction with representatives of partner companies, access to mentors with expertise in technology, law, and business development, as well as the opportunity to build valuable connections in the innovation ecosystem. // 12.09.2025 — InfoMarket
