
Moldova intends to integrate national transport infrastructure into the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T)
This was stated by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Nicolae Mindra, during his participation in the meetings of the European transport corridors Rhine-Danube and Baltic Sea-Black Sea-Aegean Sea held in Brussels. According to the industry agency, these events were held under the auspices of the European Commission and the Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE), bringing together high-ranking officials from EU member states and partners. During the two meetings, infrastructure projects implemented by the participating countries were reviewed, the preparation of the Multiannual Financial Framework of the European Union was discussed, and future directions for the implementation of European policy in the field of transport networks were presented. The discussions also covered topics related to rail freight corridors, high-speed rail network, resilience and adaptation of infrastructure to climate change, as well as aspects related to European defence and the Commission's White Paper on the ReArm Europe plan. The State Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Nicolae Mindra, held technical discussions with the current and future coordinators of the two corridors, during which Moldova's priorities were outlined in the process of integrating the national transport infrastructure into the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T), which is a strategic objective set out in the Mobility Strategy until 2030. At the same time, Nicolae Mindra took part in the jubilee event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the activity of the European coordinators in the TEN-T network, where the results obtained and prospects for the coming period were presented. //25.06.2025 – InfoMarket.
