
CNPF, European Consumer Center and Expert-Grup will expand cooperation to strengthen consumer protection in the non-banking financial sector and facilitate access to quality services
This was stated during a meeting held by Adrian Gheorghita, Deputy Chairman of the National Financial Market Commission (CNPF), with representatives of the European Consumer Center of Moldova and Expert-Grup, an independent think tank. According to CNPF, during the meeting they discussed topics related to the potential cooperation between CNPF and the European Consumer Center, both at the stage of consolidation of the regulatory framework, and the development of instruments for the representation of the interests of consumers affected by the quality of financial products, in order to collectively represent them. The need to improve the financial education of consumers was also outlined, in order to help them use financial services adapted to their needs.
