Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development of Moldova Andrei Spinu published the contracts between Energocom and Moldavskaya GRES.

In particular, on his page in social networks, he posted a link where you can find and download scanned 4 contracts between companies, as well as 5 additional agreements to them. The contracts were signed on April 29, June 27, August 31 and December 3, 2022, and additional agreements to them - on May 31, June 28, July 1, September 30 and December 27, 2022. According to the contracts, the price of electricity supplied by Moldavskaya GRES to the right bank of the Dniester, ranged from $0.0595 per kW (May), $0.0599 per kW (June-September), $0.0625 per kW (October) to $0.073 per kW (December 2022 to February 2023). The contracts detail the volumes, terms of supply, payment procedure, liability of the parties, resolution of disputes, conditions for reducing volumes and stopping the supply of electricity. The supplied electricity is paid by bank transfer to the supplier's settlement account in Moldovan lei, at the exchange rate of lei to the dollar, set by the National Bank on the day of payment. “We will continue to provide the country with energy resources and make sure that information about the actions of the government in the energy sector is in the public domain,” Andrei Spinu wrote. Earlier on January 9, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita said she would ask the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development to publish contracts for the supply of electricity between Energocom and Moldavskaya GRES after the data, which is considered a trade secret, are retouched in the documents. Andrei Spinu, speaking on the TV8 channel, noted earlier that Energocom's contracts with Moldavskaya GRES for the supply of electricity have not yet been published, since the contract contains a confidentiality clause that does not allow its publication, and MGRES did not respond at that time, does it let do it. He noted that he would insist that the next contract no longer have this confidentiality clause and that it could be published. As previously reported, Energocom will purchase from Moldavskaya GRES in January 2023 from 251,000 to 263,000 MWh of electricity at a price of $73 per MWh. It is planned that the same price of electricity from the Moldavskaya GRES for the right bank of the Dniester will remain until March inclusive. // 24.01.2023 — InfoMarket.
