Government adopted this decision, passing amendments to previous government resolutions regarding the provision of energy compensation in the form of cash payments during the cold season. As noted by Minister of Labor and Social Protection Natalia Plugaru, the minimum amount of compensation remains unchanged at 500 lei, which is stable support aimed at ensuring minimum guaranteed protection for all families eligible for compensation.
