The heat tariff for Termoelectrica consumers has been reduced by almost 15% - to 1824 lei per Gcal
The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) adopted this decision on July 23, approving the adjustment of prices for thermal and electric energy produced by Termoelectrica, as well as the change of the tariff for heat energy supplied to end consumers. In particular, based on the request received from Termoelectrica on June 10, ANRE reduced the tariff for heat energy supplied to the company's consumers by 314 lei (-14.7%) - from 2138 to 1824 lei per Gcal (without VAT). Also, the electricity produced by the supplier went down in price from 248 to 200 bani per 1 kWh. The respective changes were affected by the decrease in the forecasted weighted average price of natural gas for 2024, compared to the price of natural gas included in the current tariff. The new prices will take effect after the publication of ANRE's decision in Monitorul Oficial (the Official Journal of Moldova). The last time the heat tariff for Termoelectrica consumers was changed in March, when it was reduced by 22.9% (-636 lei) - from 2774 to 2138 lei per Gcal (excluding VAT). // 23.07.2024 - InfoMarket.
