
The state-owned Energocom has elected its new Council.
In particular, during the extraordinary general meeting of its shareholders, it was decided to early terminate the powers of the members of the Company's Council and the Audit Commission, as well as to elect their new members. The newly-elected Energocom Council consists of: Head of the Internal Audit Service of the Public Property Agency Sergiu Olisevschi, Professor of the Technical University of Moldova Valentin Arion, Deputy Head of the Quality Infrastructure and Industrial Safety Department of the Ministry of Economy Viorica Bejan, Head of the Legal Expertise Department of the Ministry of Finance Andrei Balan, Chief Consultant of the Department for Policies in the field of Energy of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development Ion Andronic. As previously reported, on October 20, Vladimir Sadovoi was appointed the new interim general director of the state-owned Energocom, who replaced another temporary head of the company, Andrian Pritula, in this post. Energocom is 100% state-owned. Energocom is a central electricity supplier. The company ensures the supply of electricity at unregulated tariffs for the needs of the domestic market. Since July 1, 2014 Energocom has been operating in the natural gas market of Moldova as a supplier of natural gas, has the right to carry out activities for the supply of natural gas at unregulated prices, to import gas for the needs of the internal gas market of Moldova, to conclude direct contracts for the supply of natural gas from imported sources as a supplier, with gas supply companies, transportation operators, etc. // 17.11.2021 - InfoMarket
