The National Energy Regulatory Agency informed that, at the same time, in value terms, electricity purchases for the specified period decreased by 8.3% - to 1 billion 086.5 million lei, which was due to a decrease in electricity purchase cost on average by 12.5% - from 113.9 to 99.7 bans per kWh. At the same time, the volume of electricity purchases from Moldova’s domestic producers in physical terms in January-March 2021, compared to the same period of the previous year, increased by 35.4% - up to 451 million kWh, and in money terms - increased by 5.9% - up to 540.8 million lei. At the same time, 639 million kWh worth 545.7 million lei were purchased from Ukraine and the Moldovan HPP in the first quarter of 2021, which is 9.6% less in physical terms, and also 19% less in value terms, compared to the same period in 2020. At the same time, the share of electricity purchases in the domestic market increased over the year from 32% to 41.4%, and electricity purchases from Ukraine and the Moldovan HPP, respectively, decreased from 68% to 58.6% of the total. According to ANRE, in particular, in January-March 2021, GNF Furnizare Energie purchased 726 million kWh of electricity (+ 2.1% compared to the same period in 2020) worth 720.3 million lei (-10.9%), FEE Nord - 262.6 million kWh (+ 3.7%) worth 262.2 million lei (-9.6%), other suppliers - 101.3 million kWh (+ 34.5%) worth 104.1 million lei (+ 21.1%). In particular, GNF Furnizare Energie bought 294.9 million kWh from domestic producers in the first quarter of 2021 (+ 37.6%) worth 352.3 million lei (+ 5%), while from Ukraine and the Moldovan HPP - 431.1 million kWh (-13.2%) worth 368 million lei (-22.2%). In turn, FEE Nord purchased 103.1 million kWh from domestic producers (+ 33.3%) worth 125.8 million lei (+ 2.9%), while from Ukraine and the Moldovan HPP - 159.5 million kWh (-9.3%) worth 136.4 million lei (-18.8%).
