The inflation target is recommended to be gradually reduced from the current level of 5% (± 1.5 percentage points) to 4% (± 1 percentage point) in 2025 and 3.8% (± 1 percentage point) in 2026 and 3.5% (± 1 percentage point) in 2027. This approach will allow a gradual transition to the new target without disrupting the interests of the financial market and the economy as a whole.

The beginning of a new calendar year in Moldova is usually associated with the entry into force of tax changes and amendments. The 2024 tax season was not an exception. The only difference is that last year the Ministry of Finance clearly followed the legislative calendar. Thanks to this, the innovations were approved by the Parliament back in the summer, and specialists even had time to get used to them. Now they are studying them in practice - there are training seminars going on in the country.
