The inflation target is recommended to be gradually reduced from the current level of 5% (± 1.5 percentage points) to 4% (± 1 percentage point) in 2025 and 3.8% (± 1 percentage point) in 2026 and 3.5% (± 1 percentage point) in 2027. This approach will allow a gradual transition to the new target without disrupting the interests of the financial market and the economy as a whole.

The beginning of a new calendar year in Moldova is usually associated with the entry into force of tax changes and amendments. The 2024 tax season was not an exception.
