As reported by the Parliament’s press service, the Foreign Policy Committee approved the start of negotiations with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), member of the World Bank Group, regarding this grant of approximately $1.7 million. The Ministry of Energy will use these funds to develop the technical documentation, feasibility studies, and environmental and social assessments required for the construction of a new cogeneration plant at the Termoelectrica facility.
