Moldova will expand its cooperation with the Netherlands in the areas of regional development, infrastructure, sustainable mobility, and the modernization of public services
This was discussed during a meeting held by Vladimir Bolea, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, with Vitalie Vrabie, Mayor of Ungheni, and Eric Geurts, Mayor of Beekdaelen in the Netherlands. The meeting focused on identifying new opportunities for cooperation in the areas of regional development, infrastructure, and sustainable mobility, as well as exchanging best practices in spatial planning, modernizing public services, and attracting investment for strategic projects. During the discussions, the Beekdaelen administration’s experience in developing modern infrastructure, sustainable mobility, and efficient public services was highlighted—models that could facilitate the implementation of similar projects in Moldova. The Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development notes that cooperation with local administrations in European Union countries opens up new opportunities for exchanging experience, attracting investment, and implementing modern solutions for regional development. // 24.07.2026— InfoMarket.
