The Prime Minister made this statement at a meeting with Sanna Marin, Strategic Advisor to the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change and former Prime Minister of Finland. The two sides discussed strengthening cooperation to accelerate Moldova's European path and attract investment. The Prime Minister noted that European integration is the government's primary goal, and the current stage includes not only legislative harmonization but also the effective implementation of reforms that will improve citizens' living conditions. "Moldova has a clear strategic direction: European integration, economic development, and strengthening resilience. We are working to translate these goals into results that will be felt by citizens," said Alexandru Munteanu. The two sides discussed expanding the support provided by the Tony Blair Institute in managing and monitoring reforms related to accession to the European Union. It was noted that the organization's experience in developing mechanisms for implementing public reforms and performance management could contribute to supporting national institutions in translating European standards. Issues related to tax policy, local public administration reform, and creating a more competitive investment environment were discussed.
