Last week, AIPA approved new subsidies for farmers totaling 19.26 million lei, up from 16.13 million lei the previous week

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry and the Agency for Interventions and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA), these funds were allocated from the National Fund for Agriculture and Rural Environment Development to support strategic investments and modernization projects in two forms of financial support. Specifically, 9.53 million lei were provided in the form of post-investment payments for 10 beneficiaries. The largest share of the total approved amount went to support investments in livestock farms – 5.33 million lei. Another 9.73 million lei was approved for payment as an advance payment for the first tranche of six investment projects submitted in 2025 for the modernization of livestock farms. At the same time, 48.29 million lei were approved from the Government Reserve Fund for financial assistance to compensate excise taxes on diesel fuel purchased by farmers. AIPA recalled that a total of 110 million lei was allocated from the Government Reserve Fund for the implementation of this support instrument. // 22.06.2026 – InfoMarket.
