In Moldova, new projects for sustainable community development and the modernization of local infrastructure are planned with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) support

This was discussed during a meeting between Vladimir Bolea, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, and Ester Ruiz de Azua, Head of Mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Moldova. The discussions focused on the ministry's priorities for the current year and strengthening cooperation between IOM and national authorities to implement projects aimed at modernizing local infrastructure, including public facilities, water supply and sanitation systems, and access to energy. According to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, the meeting confirmed the continuity of the previously established institutional partnership between the ministry and IOM, including through the signed Memorandum of Understanding, which provides for the implementation of sustainable community development projects, the modernization of local infrastructure, and the attraction of foreign investment.// 29.01.2026 — InfoMarket
