
Germany will provide Moldova with 14.8 million euros for the implementation of 3 projects.
The Government of Moldova approved the start of negotiations and the signing of a draft intergovernmental agreement on technical cooperation to finance 3 projects. Thus, the project “Promoting Youth Employment in Moldova” with a budget of 3.8 million euros aims to train young people under the age of 35 through practical training programs in sectors of the economy with a high demand for qualified specialists, including the energy sector. The project could also reach Ukrainian refugees to speed up their integration into the Moldovan labor market. The beneficiary of the project is the Ministry of Energy, and the implementation period is 2024-2026. The second project - "Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy for Moldova" - with a budget of 5 million euros, aims to improve energy efficiency in the building sector and accelerate the expansion of the use of renewable energy sources. It involves the consolidation of public administration in Moldova in terms of human resource management strategy and the provision of public services. The project will be implemented from November 2023 to October 2026. The project “Attractive and effective public administration for Moldova” with a budget of 6 million euros will be implemented in 2024-2026 in the State Chancellery and the Ministry of Finance. It is intended to support the implementation of some measures of the Public Administration Reform Strategy and the Public Financial Management Development Strategy, strengthen human resource management, improve the provision of citizen-oriented public services through digitalization and strengthen management capacity at the local level. //06.12.2023 – InfoMarket.
