The Organization for the Development of the Sector of Small and Medium Enterprises of Moldova (ODIMM), in the context of the Diaspora Days, recalls the continuation of the Program for attracting remittances to Moldova’s economy - PARE 1 + 1, which is intended for labor migrants and their close relatives who want to invest in the launch or development of their own business. A migrant’s relative of I degree of kinship is a spouse, parents / adoptive parents, sons / daughters. The program was launched in November 2010 for 5 years, later it was extended until 2018, and later - until 2021. The maximum grant amount per beneficiary is 250 thousand lei. The program operates on the 1 + 1 principle: for each 1 MDL invested by a labor migrant or his relatives, the state allocates another 1 MDL lei in a grant. So far, almost 2 thousand enterprises have received support through the PARE 1 + 1 Program, which have invested over 1 billion lei.
