Customer-centric design, trends in UX/UI and maib digitization were the topics discussed at the latest "maib agile rocks" meetup event

On July 11, we successfully held the third edition of the 'maib agile rocks' event on 'User-Centric Design in Banking'. The event was a vibrant platform for sharing and improving our experiences. The enthusiastic and curious participants had the opportunity to explore the essential role of UX/UI Design in the most digitized bank in the Republic of Moldova, a testament to our commitment to customer centricity and agile way of working.
 
The event's speaker was Dorin Baibarac, UX/UI Team Lead at maib, a professional with 7 years of experience in the field. Dorin shared his vast experience, discussing the evolution of the maibank app and how user-centered design contributes to its success. His presentation was full of practical tips and relevant examples, illustrating how the maib team remains at the forefront of industry trends.

The discussions were interactive, and participants had the chance to ask questions that opened new perspectives on the UX/UI design process at maib. Topics covered included research on UX for senior users, strategies for launching a new design update, working with analytics specialists, methods for testing design parts with users, and ensuring maibank app security. The comparison between biometrics and Face ID was also discussed, highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of each technology.
 
The "User-Centric Design in Banking" edition was a success, consolidating maib's position as a leader in innovation and digitalization in the banking sector in the Republic of Moldova.
