20 high school students participated in the maib financial education program

Through the maib financial education program, another group of pupils has gained new skills and valuable tools to navigate the field of finance as it applies to everyday life.

During the visit to maib park and the financial education lesson, the 20 12th-grade  high school students from the "Dimitrie Cantemir" High School in the capital learned how to improve their budget management, which banking products and services they can choose according to their needs, and how the world of finance works in general.

In addition to the general knowledge obtained, the school students took a trip to the maib park branch and headquarters, where they had the opportunity to discover the bank's opportunities and philosophy and explore the technologies applied at maib that make the customer experience simpler, easier, and more enjoyable.

Participants in the financial education lesson:
"The visit allowed us to get acquainted with maib headquarters, learn about various subtleties of finance, and have an immersive experience.
The building impressed me with its versatility, bright design, and how the branch areas are organised. The trainers were professional and friendly. They presented the material engagingly and interactively and were extremely open to our questions.”

"The financial literacy lesson helped us discover more about maib's business, the bank's history, services and technologies. The trainers told us about the opportunities offered by maib and how the bank works, and they were very competent and receptive. It was great to see how banking systems work from the inside and understand their role in the economy."

"Visiting maib park was a fun and educational experience. I learned a lot of exciting things about the history of banks and current trends in banking. Maib employees showed professionalism and charisma, making this visit a memorable journey into the banking world."
In 2023, over 500 pupils from educational institutions in the capital participated in maib financial education lessons.

Pupils up to the age of 14 can take part in the usual financial education lessons by applying to tatiana.cojuhari@maib.md.
