Maib credits the construction of the largest Distribution Center in Moldova

Maib announces the financial partnership with Linella, "Moldretail Group" SRL, one of the leading Moldovan retailers, through which it credits the construction of the largest Distribution Center in the Republic of Moldova. This is currently the most significant project at the national level and supports Linella's mission to provide customers with quality products and services.

Dumitru Baxan, maib Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, in charge of the Corporate Department:
"It is a joy to support yet another large-scale project developed by the maib client, Moldretail Group, and together with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, contribute through concessional financing to realise this ambitious goal we resonate with. In addition to its direct usefulness, the new Distribution Center will offer significant benefits to the community in a well-organized and efficient space in all respects. We are confident that this project will add value in the areas of warehousing, product management and shipping, as well as contribute positively to the customer experience.
Located on 5.4 hectares, the Distribution Center will serve as a central hub for storing, managing and shipping products to all Linella stores across the country. It will be a center fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology and implemented processes to optimize and ensure fast and efficient delivery of products. In addition, the center is designed with a focus on sustainability and environmental awareness, with features such as energy-efficient lighting and responsible waste management. The center comprises several buildings: a single-level warehouse, a 3-storey administration block, a car wash, a driver's block and a pumping station.”

Igor Călcîi, CEO S.R.L. Moldretail Group stated:
"We are incredibly excited to announce the start of construction of this distribution center, a significant step in our efforts to provide better, faster service and contribute to the country's economic development.
