For the first time in Moldova: Google Pay payments is available for online shopping
Maib launched for the first time in the Republic of Moldova the acceptance of online payments through Google Pay, an option enabled in online stores, which use the e-commerce service provided by the bank.
Paying with the card on the Internet thus becomes easier for buyers, as a single click on the "Pay via Google Pay" button is sufficient. Purchases can be made with any Visa or Mastercard card issued by any bank in the country or abroad.
Google Pay transactions are processed immediately and have a high degree of security. The applied technology protects the accurate card data, which is not stored on your phone or in your browser and is never disclosed. Using an encrypted and secure token provides Google Pay with additional security and privacy for digital payments.

- through the maibank mobile app (for maib cards) / "Cards" section / click on the card / "Add to GPay" button;
- through the Google Wallet app, which you must install on your phone (for any cards) / click the "Add to Wallet" button / choose "Payment card".
- Click on the "Pay via Google Pay" button
